Arboriculture and I
In Islam, respect and care for trees and the environment are rooted in the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and the Quran.
The Prophet (SAW) taught that harming trees unjustly is wrong, instructing Muslims to avoid unnecessary damage, even during conflict or war, acknowledging their vital role in sustaining life.
This reflects the Islamic principle of stewardship over Allah’s creations.
Muslims are encouraged to plant and nurture trees, viewing environmental care as worship and obedience.
This moral framework fosters responsibility to protect the environment, recognizing it as a trust from Allah for present and future generations.
